Synchron, or Freewill City of Synchron, is an independent republic located in Yosemite, inside the borders of North Am in the 41st Century. It was constructed as a sanctuary by and for Freewills, robots who have gained sentience, and is later destroyed by the Malevs.
In latter issues it is referred to as former Steel Nation.
